Terrey Hills
Beautiful lighting. Now it behaves.
A home on a bush block in Terrey Hills, built from sandstone, timber-lined ceilings and walnut joinery. The lighting was designed into the architecture: LED in every shelf and splashback, in-floor uplights grazing the stone, wall lights washing the timber ceilings and step lights in the garden walls.
The onsite electrician installed the fittings. BSES supplied the zencontrol DALI-2 lighting control system and programmed it. That's the part that turns dozens of separate lights into something the owners actually use: every fitting addressed, dimmed to the right level and grouped into scenes for morning, evening and entertaining.
| Scope | Supply of the zencontrol DALI-2 lighting control system, addressing, programming and commissioning of all lighting scenes and dimming levels |

DALI-2 lighting control for the whole home, supplied by BSES.
Each fitting addressed and set to its own level, then grouped into scenes the owners use every day.
Programmed and fine-tuned in the house, so every scene looks right in the real space.

Same lights. Different levels.
Lighting like this only works when every layer is balanced. The stone uplights, joinery LED and ceiling wash each get their own dimming level in every scene, so the sandstone glows in the evening without the room feeling dark or the shelves overpowering it. That balance is programming, not hardware.
